INGREDIENTS:
For the Margarita:
- Two cups of fresh lime juice (16 limes total).
- 1/2 cup tequila
- ¾ cup orange liqueur, or triple sec
- 35-40 mint leaves, plus additional for decoration
- Cubes of ice
For the Himalayan Salt Rim:
- ¾ cup of Pink Salt and Spices’ fine Himalayan Pink Salt or Himalayan Pink Margarita Salt.
- Three limes—two sliced into wedges and one juiced
Steps:
Prepare the Himalayan Salt Rim:
- Pour Pink Salt and Spices’ Himalayan Pink Margarita Salt into a shallow dish.
- Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each margarita glass to moisten it.
- Dip the rim of each glass into the salt, turning the glass to coat the rim evenly.
Make the Margarita:
- In a large pitcher, muddle the fresh mint leaves with the fresh lime juice to release the mint’s flavor.
- Add the tequila to the pitcher, stirring well to combine.
- Fill the pitcher with ice cubes and stir until the mixture is well chilled.
Serve:
- Fill each prepared margarita glass with fresh ice.
- Pour the margarita mixture evenly into each glass.
